I am defined by the spaces around me by both the negative and positive spaces. Without these spaces, I do not exist as a form or shape. I am carved out by these space that defines me. In my artworks, my attempt is to destroy these space and re-carve a new definition of shapes and forms. This act of spatial deconstruction and reconstruction results in the different configuration of my abstract forms.
By destroying the spaces and its associated meanings and re-creating a mass or sometime a floating mass, I am attempting to create new meaning to these spaces. Sometimes it is ugly and sometimes it is beautiful.
